Stop The Formics

Information and tactics to repel the invasion.

Field Agent Submission: Attack from Beneath

15 August 2013 by Mazer

We have discovered small tunnels around the base of the shields on the landers. They are on either side of the shield and after close examination we discovered that even the Formics can’t cross through their shields. They have to go beneath the landers and come up on the inside of the shield. We have developed a strategy of using the Chinese technology of a Digger to dig beneath the surface and plant a bomb. However there is an air pocket beneath the lander. You will have to shoot up from the ground to make it into the ship. Then if you hurry the pilot can move to one of the other diggers before the Formics arrive and you and your team tunnel away.

Field Agent Submission: Mothership

14 August 2013 by Hope

The Formics appear to have a hive mind. They are somehow mentally linked to each other; this explains the lack of radio transmissions. This also means that any information a single Formic learns about us or our fighting tactics will likely be instantly spread to every Formic on Earth. I believe in order to win this war we will have to take out the source of command. Their mothership, maybe?

Field Agent Submission: 没有收音机 NO RADIO

26 July 2013 by RED DRAGON

似乎并不FORMICS使用无线电。我们无法检测到任何东西。他们似乎并没有认识到我们的电台。或者如果他们这样做,他们这样做似乎并不关心。

THE FORMICS DON’T SEEM TO USE RADIO. WE CAN’T DETECT ANYTHING. THEY DON’T SEEM TO RECOGNIZE OUR RADIO EITHER. OR IF THEY DO, THEY DON’T SEEM TO CARE.

Field Agent Submission: Children

24 July 2013 by Victor

Children are also useful. Some children are born for combat. These children must be found, tested, taught, and used. Children react faster, see different options, are willing to do things no adult would. While not useful in direct combat, these children can plan and figure.

Field Agent Submission: Storms

10 July 2013 by Field Agent

stop the formics - storms

The frequency and intensity of storms like these are increasing, as more and more of China goes up in smoke, and ash and dust disperses it everywhere else. The good news is that the Formics seem to dislike the storms just as much as we do. You may not be able to tell in the picture, but the caravan I was leading was able to completely bypass a formic station completely undercover of the storm. Unfortunately, it wasn’t before they had found one of our food stashes and taken it out with appears to be 100 tons of TNT. #overkill
